A trio of images featuring two of Motorola's upcoming devices were leaked on Google+ by user hellomotoHK. One of them is the next DROID for the US carrier Verizon, and the other the next generation Moto X.

Starting with the DROID, the first thing that you notice is the back with the striped pattern. It seems for once Motorola and Verizon will offer some sort of customizable back plate instead of the same old boring black designs that DROID devices have always had. The back also has a raised camera, with a design similar to the Moto 360, where the bottom bit is cut off from the rest of the circle and houses the flash. At the bottom is what looks like a single loudspeaker with the DROID branding.

The frame seems to be metal with rounded corners and three separate volume and power buttons.

On the front is a sizable chin at the bottom with a fingerprint sensor and the Verizon branding. The display shows the clock and weather widget, which could be some sort of always-on display feature. Above is the earpiece with the front camera and possible an LED flash.

Moving over to the other two images, The back seems to be made out of metal, except for panels at the top and bottom. The camera is once again raised with the Moto 360 style cut out for the flash but there are also two additional elements inside the camera assembly that remain unidentified. Near the bottom are what look like dock connectors. The sides are rounded once again with three separate buttons.

The front once again has a massive chin with a fingerprint sensor. The white version shows a trio of motion sensors around the front, one on the top and two at the bottom, which could be the motion sensors we saw on the second and third generation Moto X. There are also the front camera and LED flash at the top next to the earpiece.

These look like professional renders but they could be fan made based on the initial leaks, so best to take them with a tiny pinch of salt.

Motorola is having an event this week in India, where the company will most likely launch just the new Moto G, but we will keep and eye if there is more.
