This is a big issue on many custom ROM which are based on CM (cyanogen MOD). So today i am going to be showing a QUICK tutorial on how to FIX THIS ISSUE

THINGS REQUIRED

- ROOTED Redmi 1S
- Custom Recovery (TWRP or others)
- Xcelerate™ Kernel (MUST)(CM 12)
                        OR
- Xcelerate™ Kernel (MUST)(CM 12.1)
- Flashing knowledge

Disclaimer : No responsible if this bricks your device. I personally tested on Resurrection Remix ROM which had the same issue.

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1
Download all the files required

STEP 2
Go to custom recovery but pressing the VOL + and POWER BUTTON

STEP 3 (OPTIONAL)
Do a nano Backup of your current ROM (Just for safety purposes)

STEP 4
Go to the WIPE section/ADVANCE WIPE and select dalvik cache and cache

STEP  5
Go and select the zip and FLASH IT

STEP 6
Press on REBOOT

Note : The boot time can take 3-4 mins so don't panic

After booting up completely  you will see that your device has become hot at the back so now just power off your device and take out the battery and keep it like that for a while like 1-2 mins(in my case)

STEP 7
Now put back the battery and start your device and now you will see that you can change the clock frequencies

TESTED ON

- RESURRECTION REMIX
- CM 12
