HTC is currently working on a new smartphone that may be sold under the name Bolt
or 10 evo. The company could actually end up using both of those names,
each restricted to certain markets. We've already seen the Bolt in leaked press renders as well as live images,
but so far only in silver. Well, it's time now to take a look at the
black version of the upcoming Bolt, thanks to some newly leaked press
renders.
The device has been rumored to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, an 18 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, and a dual-LED flash, an 8 MP front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, and absolutely no trace of a 3.5mm headset jack.
Yes, this will be HTC's first handset to ditch the analog connector. The Bolt will have a fingerprint scanner below the display, and it will run Android 7.0 Nougat. In the US, it will be sold by Sprint. That said, it will be available globally. Pretty much the only mysteries remaining (aside from which chipset it uses) have to do with when it will become available and how much it's going to cost. Hopefully those things will get cleared up soon.
