The Elife E8 is the higher-end model, with a large 6" AMOLED display with QHD resolution and a 2GHz octa-core processor. The phablet should pack an impressive 23MP camera on its back along with an 8MP selfie shooter.
The Gionee Marathon M5 is smaller – 5.5" AMOLED 720p display – and will have half the CPU cores. The budget phone is expected to earn its name with a massive 6,020mAh battery. Well, actually it should have two batteries to reach that capacity, but measure only 8.6mm thick.
Watch the unveiling live for a first glance at both phones and anything else Gionee might have in store for today.
